When I first got started in music many years ago, one of the smartest things I ever did was find Indie on the Move. I remember blindly trying to pitch bars and festivals with absolutely no idea how to get the best results. With IOTM, it gave me a foot in the door. Back then I would take anything just to get to play music for a crowd. Soon after, I caught a few lucky breaks, I sang live on Oprah Winfrey, won the Bob Dylan Songwriting Award a couple of times, and even sang with Seal in a Superbowl commercial. After that my career took off. I was no longer taking just any gig that came along. IOTM helped me find the venues that were the best fit for my music. Using their website I could isolate venues that played the style of music I play, I could only send information to venues who had live music on specific days, and it was great for booking tours. When booking tours it has all the best venues categorized by states and cities so that I can target where I want to go, and the venues in that area that are offering live music on the nights I need to book. Anyway, it makes the job so much easier. It offers contacts for festivals and colleges. All the tools to help you get your music out to the right audience. As most of us musicians know, Great music is eternal, but if even the greatest song can flop when its played to the wrong type of audience. IOTM helps you find the right crowd for your sound and in the end it makes you a better musician, and much more popular with audiences. I highly recommend IOTM as one of the greatest tools a musician can use to get established in a live music performance career. Kyle and IOTM are the best. I made a goal to do 75 gigs in 2022. I had done none as a solo artist before that. Through a lot of hard work and working with Kyle at IOTM, earlier this month I did my 75th gig of 2022. It was my #1 goal for 2022 and I reached it (and the year isnt over, I'll do almost 90 before the year is over). I could never have done it without IOTM and Kyle. This is an incredible service. I highly recommend with absolutely no reservations. Kyle is the best.

I've been with IOTM for almost 10 years. In that time, I've utilized a great number of their resources and services, including consultation, the Do It Together program and the Deluxe membership. I went from having no idea how to plan a tour to now being a full-timer with mileage, and I can thank Kyle and the team for that. Kyle is one of the best communicators I've encountered in the music business. From start to finish, the marketing consultation provided by Indie on the Move was a great experience. The consultant assigned to our project happened to be a local musician to our hometown with years of booking experience. He provided excellent insight and was a pleasure to work with. After spending countless hours this spring reaching out to venues and trying to book shows in surrounding cities on our own, only to yield a few results, the IOTM consultation and our 1st booking campaign has yielded half a dozen quality shows in a handful of regional markets, and has also opened the line of communication to around a dozen other venues who are open to potential shows in the future. All of this in about a couple week's time and with minimal effort on the band's part (if your band has little to no published content and doesn't have much of an online presence, I'd absolutely fix that before trying to book shows- this is just my suggestion). The IOTM consultation helped us refine our booking strategy and provided great tips on ways to be more efficient and successful with booking shows. Kyle and the IOTM did an excellent job preparing us for the campaign we were running to book shows for Ben DeHan. Expectations were clearly set, communication was consistent, and we successfully filled up a number of dates on Ben's calendar in 2022 that otherwise might have been left open. We appreciate the care and attention to detail taken to keep us on track with helping artist's meet their goals.

I was recommended IOTM by some musician friends of ours and decided to give it a try. We didn’t know what to expect when we joined up with them to help us book shows but after our consultation we were very impressed. Communication was excellent and they definitely love helping indie musicians. They reached out to a lot of venues on our behalf and we received several responses and a few offers and and booked our first non local shows. We are a fairly new band and don’t have a lot of press or achievements outside of our local area and wasn’t really sure how to start and they showed us the path. They helped us update our website and gave very good advice for every question we had. Using their outline we have a clear path to go from small town famous to the indie band playing shows on the road. We didn’t get a tour booked our first round of emails but they did give us a plan that will help us and I am very satisfied with there service. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get to the next level in their music careers. Every single person I talked to was a class act and genuinely wanted to help us. Kyle and IOTM helped alot with everything from making sure all aspects of our website were done correctly to planning and sending out emails to venues in the areas we selected.
