Kyle and the good people at IOTM have put up a valuable data base for independent and underground live show bookings. I have never seen anything quite like. They know how to access and how to use these resources in a jiffy and can show you how it's done. Esp. useful are direct contacts to talent buyers not always apparent on venue websites. There are also incisive tutorials linked to the site, newsletter, and multi facets to help guide you through the thickets and swamps of DIY artist initiated booking. When a concert agent informed us, he no longer had time to do justice to the custom tour we were seeking, he kindly recommended IOTM as a resource he himself has been using for his entire career. Right, so it has taken us in the band over seven (7) weeks to hook up a five (5) week coast-to-coast venture with only a couple of Mondays off. We are still flogging about nine (9) gaps some of which are presently in negotiation. Outcome is: we are getting the tour we want with some unexpected and favorable surprises along the way. We were cautious about how IOTM's pro services would be because quite often stuff seems too good to be true in the music industry, but it definitely saved us weeks, if not months, of work. We're booking shows for our upcoming tours in March & May. The emails were sent out & we got 70 emails in reply within a week and a half. Of that we filled all the dates we were hoping to fill via IOTM. I had previously used the Quickpitch feature to book tours in 2020 (that were cancelled), but not having to do all the customization myself for each market saved us a lot of time. Also, getting help with our EPK & pitch for the email made a huge difference. We'll for sure be using them again.
