With the help of IOTM, we have not only one healthy tour under our belts but two more on the horizon for this year. Without having to worry about the struggle and time spent locating and reaching out to each venue, we as a band are able to grow and develop our music quicker and more efficiently. With so many helpful tools and advice, we would recommend IOTM and its services to anyone. https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/Jbanks00Indie On The Move is an absolute life-saver for independent artists! Kyle was so instrumental in booking my first tour. He made the entire process simple, fun, and (most of all) effective. Can't wait to go out on the road again!! http://www.haleymaecampbell.com
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/haleymaecampbellKyle did a GREAT job helping to book my first tour EVER last year, and it was big, from Boston to L.A. Everything went great, I had a great time and I learned so much from how he did things I have been able to book subsequent tours on my own using the resources from Indie on the Move. I would highly recommend using the D.I.T booking service!!!
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/JessJusticeJust wanted to make a quick post to let you know what a great experience I had on my "Lessons from Life and Love" album tour. Kyle was extremely professional and helpful with setting up my pitch and contacting venues on my behalf. It was my first tour in the US and I had 11 dates lined up! Several venues have invited me to play again and I'll be returning to a few of them this month. I'll be planning a larger tour in the fall and will definitely rely on IOTM to get that going. Great experience!
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/KimiaPMusichttp://www.hubbywifeduo.com/shows Of the 35 bookable, submitted days on this calendar between May & July 2016, we had one(1) show booked before we invested in Kyle's service. After email blasts at the end of March, now we have 18 shows booked in that range, and they are still coming in confirmed weekly. I've spent many many hours booking local/regional shows for other acts and my own, over the past couple of decades. IOTM's service this year has boosted my knowledge and efficiency by leaps and bounds. Sure wish I would have discovered it sooner. Professional, very prompt and attentive communication, and dedication to keeping an accurate live-music-oriented venue database: this is what you can expect with IOTM's service. We cannot say enough about how Kyle has helped boost our campaign. Soo excited to hit the road this summer! Todd http://www.hubbywifeduo.com
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/hubbywifeduoThe tour booking service is extremely convenient and helpful. Kyle talked to me for an hour about my music and my accomplishments as a musician, wrote up an awesome pitch and then sent out about 50 emails for each market. All I had to do was sit back, watch the responses come in and decide which gigs I wanted to accept. I really think what you get for the money is totally worth the time you save researching and emailing venues yourself! Thanks, Kyle and IOTM, you're awesome!
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/Danied318Every band wants a booking agent; someone who is an expert in the field and can do all the work, so the band can focus on making music. Booking a tour is particularly difficult since you are trying to find appropriate venues in various markets, on specific dates. Then, in many cases, the venues require you to find local acts to help fulfill the draw. Without a booking agent, this is a daunting, complex, and challenging task. Enter IOTM. For a very reasonable fee they write your email pitch, and using the dates and markets you requests, they organize it into a plan and send out a ton of emails for you. Then, if needed, they send out a folow-up pitch for an even smaller fee. They also provide proven advice on how to find local bands for each market. We have a terrific tour lined up for late April in SoCal thanks to IOTM! The website also features DIY services. We used one of them while we were touring in NYC. The result being we got booked to open for a popular band that had sold out one of the most popular venues in Brooklyn. The website is chock full of helpful resources and advice. IOTM is a smart, effective and inexpensive option for bands not quite ready for a booking agent.
"Kyle at IOTM helped me book my first tour. I remember having no idea where to start or who to contact. Turns out Kyle did, and drew from a huge database of venues and contacts, then he emailed them on my behalf with a professional pitch. I'd seen blog posts and things online from them, but once a friend talked to me about their own success with IOTM, I took the plunge and have been satisfied since. Independent artists need not look any further than Indie on the Move for booking solid performances." - Max Histrionic http://www.chamnology.com
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/maxlikesmusicThe idea of booking a tour ourselves was always something I thought you needed a manger for. I googled 'tips for touring' and Indie on the Move kept popping up. Finally I entered in the URL, read some reviews and decided to take what I thought would be a risk. Turns out, it wasn't a risk at all... It was a career move. The database alone is WELL worth the money. The database of contacts and venues saves you hours of having to search the internet using specific keywords, or worse finding out of date information about the venue. IOTM also helps you with planning your tour, teaches you how to market yourself and your music, and how to set your band up for success on the road. This is the second time I have had Kyle Webber help me out with planning out a tour, and so far its going great. I look forward to continuing to use this site! :)
https://www.indieonthemove.com/users/deadlight_holidayIndie On The Move is always the first resource we use when booking our tours. We've been using the site for about five years to book shows on the road. Aside from letting us know the venues exist, IOTM does a fine job of letting bands and artists give honest opinions about the places they've played. That alone is a great heads up when entering areas/venues that are often unfamiliar. It's an essential tool for anyone booking performances. -Corey The Ohio Weather Band
