Enoch 7th Prophet is an an artist and the owner of Chakra Music, LLC who has also organized tours and shows around the U.S. He has been quoted as saying, “I am not hip-hop, I am chakra music”, and his creations are aimed at individuals who appreciate message-based songs. He received his introduction to music at a very early age through members of his family who were singers and musicians. At age 12 Enoch started off as the youngest percussionist in a Washington DC-based gospel group before mastering the bongos and drum sets. While attending Voorhies College, he served as the band director from his junior year until he graduated. Enoch credits artists such as Redman, and KRS-One as well as jazz, funk, and mantra music as some of his earlier influences, and his music enlightens audiences everywhere. Before there was iTunes and Rhapsody, Enoch the 7th prophet was a leader in the grass roots movement of music production and independent releases. For over a decade, he has been the go-to host and musician for creative events in the nation’s capital. He has eleven combined solo and group projects under his belt, and has shared the stage with artists such as KRS-One, Redman, Erick Sermon, Goodie Mob, and a host of other notable acts. Described by others as “humble and laid back”, he unleashes his inner voice and maintains control of the mic each time he hits the stage to deliver chakra music to the masses.
