“HeartBreaK™ is an independent Rap/Hip-Hop/Comedic artist from the city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. HeartBreaK also known HBK for short was born and raised in the city of Milwaukee, WI Thanksgiving of 88’. Although he claims to be from The City of God, which are the slums of Brazil. His mother will tell you he was born at Mount Sinai Hospital in Milwaukee County. HeartBreaK™ was a very gifted and creative child growing up, singing, dancing, and imitating every song he heard on the radio. Amazed by things like fine arts, HBK cites his favorite artist being the late but great, Jean-Michel Basquiat the Golden Child and Vincent van Gough. In the early 1990's, Kris Kross was a very big influence, and the backwards style had caught up to the Midwest, HeartBreak™ and his little brother were big fans, and their great grandfather "Gramps" got them tickets to a concert. HeartBreaK had a very rough child hood, at the age of 4 his father was arrested in front of him, in their home after just holding up a series of neighborhood bars and a super market bank. He was sentenced to 18 years but only did 5 years for good behavior. By that time, his mother was going through her ups and downs with a drug and liquor addiction, losing jobs, getting evicted every other month, moving from house to house, staying with other people. The only way HBK could escape the hardship was to go to school and keep busy by joining every after school program he could to stay away from home. In middle school he earned Honor Roll every year and Valedictorian at 8th Grade graduation. Even with being the musty kid in class he didn't let his home life interfere with his goals of becoming somebody the world would know and love. At the age 14, HeartBreaK’s mother was fed up with his teenage “I’m grown” attitude and kicked him out the house. Being homeless he had minor brushes with the law, started smoking weed and drinking, and had been to five high schools his 9th grade year including John F . Kennedy in Paterson, New Jersey where on his first day a student was shot and killed right in front of him. When he was 18 years old he gave birth to his first child Avyontai Avizame, but due to a probation violation from a drug case he caught, HeartBreak missed the birth of his son, and was kicked out of BayView High School and sent to M.S.D.F. (Milwaukee Secure Detention Facility) which is a Maximum Security Prison Facility in the middle of Downtown Milwaukee. To inmates it’s known as Muthafucker Shown Done Fucked Up. This is because inmates were confined to their cell for 23 hours a day . Back and forth to jail grew tiresome for HeartBreak as he was approaching 23 years of age. He decided to start taking his passion for music a little bit more serious. Years of writing raps, poems, even a book or two had already prepared HBK for the music game, well so he thought. His first couple songs were recorded in big house studios that his own words, "fucked him royally". He decided to record his own music, making a studio himself, HearBreaK created his first mixtape "purple soxxx" in the summer of 2009. Since then, HertBreaK has been headed up the ladder of success, all this after the miracle birth of his second child, a girl named Adrienne-Alianna, and overdose off ecstasy/molly (causing 2 minor heart attacks). As a part of the organization, #noHICKEYS™ HeartBreaK is their spokesmen for the side of the company that offers safe sex education classes to Milwaukee Inner City Youth and Young Adults for the Awareness of S.T.I.s and unwanted pregnancy. For the past couple of years HeartBreak has tooken a higatce from rapping or performing and has been perfecting his craft. This year HeartBreak™ is already in the studio working on a new mix tape set to drop this Thanksgiving of 2016 no CEILINGS iii™ (Inspired by Lil’ Wayne’s No Ceilings Saga). iTunes and other digital media outlets.
