He released his debut solo EP, "No Wires," on March 25th, and is touring across the country in May with his producer and longtime collaborator Parker Crane on drums and second guitar. He has played hundreds of shows in the US, Canada, Argentina, Spain, Cambodia, and Thailand. Shakespear's driving, soulful indie folk captures the restless tension between the joy of stillness and the need for change. Strands of indie folk, soul, and rock and roll become part of a conversation between homes and dreams.
