After a number of years writing, workshopping, rewriting, recording, rerecording and starting again from scratch, Jason McGovern finally released "In Fits and Starts" in late 2015. With stubbornness to self-record/produce and a bad habit of picking at edits like a scab, it is no wonder the album took so long to finish. Leaning on his Americana, singer-songwriterly and some oddball influences, McGovern makes honest, often raw, yet hopeful observations about the ebb and flow of life. Whether alone or with his band, McGovern wants to make real connections with audiences of all kinds through his music. McGovern has also appeared on WSTW's Hometown Heroes, abc27's Good Day PA! and WNJR's acousticSongs LIVE!
