About

My name is Mike Musick. I have been traveling as a musician since 2001. I have recorded hundreds of songs and enjoyed a few top ten hits along the way. My favorite part of what I do is connecting with my audience. So I hope you will take a listen and if you like my style then lets book a show and make it a success! Biography Musick has released a handful of projects that received acclaim in the past, starting with his solo debut This Town (2002) (produced by Mitch Dane, whose credits include Jars of Clay) and Love Rain Down (2006). His single "Funk#5" reached #2 on Indie Rock Radio, while "This Town" reached #3 on that survey and was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition and was released on a radio compilation entitled Still Small Voice. In addition, "Got Your Back" from This Town was a big college radio hit throughout the Midwest and was included on a 2004 Major League Baseball compilation CD. After headlining the Hollywood Music Awards with his hit single "America", Musick also appeared on the PBS special "Legends and Lyrics" alongside Charlie Daniels and Jimmy Webb. Recently, "America" reached the #9 slot on AC Radio while "Angels on the Radio" was picked up by Delta's In-Flight Music programming reaching over 8.5 million listeners. Finally crossing over from Pop into Country music in 2010, Musick and Lindsey Davis formed the hit duo Summertown. While this group was together they played over 100 shows all over the country, garnered a Grand Prize for co-writing "Paradise" and a #1 slot in Asia at radio for that same song. Musick wrote over 40 new country songs with Davis, Stewart Harris and Brad Paisley's Bass Player Kenny Lewis. Due to release his solo Americana record sometime in 2013, Musick will be hitting the road as a full fledged, back to his roots songwriter/performer.
