"The Smokestack is a flexible urban venue located in downtown Dubuque, Iowa, in the Cee-Lo neighborhood (Lower Central) at the crossroads of the Millwork, Port of Dubuque, and Main Street districts. The Smokestack is a bar, restaurant, dance club, music, art, performance and event space, and more." They host open mic on Thursdays, the first Sunday of each month and the first Wednesday of each month. Other Wednesday nights are reserved for a Blues jam. Shows can be held any other night of the week. Those under 21 can be inside until 9 PM.
